2021 年,中国作曲家陈其钢迈入了人生的第 70 年。作为中央音乐学院“77 级传奇”的重要一员和法国作曲家梅西安的关门弟子,陈其钢长于将中 国古典感性与西方音乐技艺相结合,以细腻的色彩和独具一格的文人心 曲拓展了中国现当代音乐的境界,在世界乐坛独树一帜。北京国际音乐 节历来重视中西交流,与陈其钢结缘亦有近 20 年。
由广州交响乐团常任指挥景焕执棒乐团演奏的音乐会中,《京剧瞬间》 由上海交响乐团为其新音乐厅开幕而委约,以错落有致、墨彩变幻的方 式展现京剧独有的音响与戏剧美学;《如戏人生》则是作曲家在走过坎 坷和风雨后的近作,写尽人生一世的虚幻。
2021 也是法国大作曲家圣 - 桑逝世 100 周年。圣 - 桑作为法国浪漫主义 器乐的开拓者,荫蔽法国乐界逾半个世纪之久。他事业成功,却命运多 舛,享得高寿之余,在晚年游历四方,一度远至南美,造就了传奇的一 生。本场音乐会上演的两部小提琴协奏曲,尽管知名度大相径庭,但同 样体现了圣 - 桑的“法式”风格和创作信念:动听、清晰而兼具戏剧感。 两部作品分别由曾任香港管弦乐团第一首席的中央音乐学院教授、独奏 大师徐惟聆与新锐小提琴家、上海交响乐团史上最年轻的乐队首席柳鸣 担纲,师生同台,别有意趣。圣 - 桑与陈其钢两相比照,也可一窥法式 美学在不同时代、东西方不同文化背景下结出的动人果实。

and Celebrates Qigang Chen
As a key member of CCOM’s legendary Class’77 and the last disciple of the French composer Olivier Messiaen, the 70-yearold Chinese composer Qigang Chen excels at expressing classical Chinese sensibility with Western musical tradition. With delicate colors befitting a literati’s sensitivity and sensibility, his music has exemplified the spiritual attainment of Chinese contemporary music and is one of a kind in the world of music. The BMF, with its long endeavor in cultural exchange, has been associated with Chen for nearly 20 years.
With Principal Conductor Jing Huan leading Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra (GSO), this concert opens with Instants d’un Opéra de Pékin commissioned by the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra (SSO) for the inauguration of its new concert hall. It evokes the unique sound world and dramatic aesthetics of Peking Opera. Itinéraire d’une illusion is Chen’s recent work which reflects over a man’s years of ups and downs and the illusory nature of life.
2021 marks the 100th anniversary of the death of the French composer Camille Saint-Saëns, a pioneer of Romantic instrumental music in France. A successful father figure in French music for more than half a century, he lived to a ripe old age and had his own share of misfortunes. Saint-Saëns’ two violin concertos, though wide apart in their fame, are both typical of Saint-Saëns’ French style: pleasant, tuneful and dramatic. They will be performed at this concert respectively by Prof. Vera Tsu, the former concertmistress of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, and Liu Ming, the youngest concertmistress of SSO, who was also her student. With Saint-Saëns and Qigang Chen side by side, one has a bite of French aesthetics in different times and reflected in different cultural backgrounds.
