作为波兰最重要的指挥家之一,雅切克·卡斯普契克最近被任命为波兹南歌剧院音乐总监,任期从2023-2024音乐季开始。他此前担任这家歌剧院的首席客座指挥与音乐顾问。此外,他还曾担任过华沙爱乐乐团与弗罗茨瓦夫全国音乐论坛爱乐乐团的艺术总监,波兰国家广播交响乐团与波兰国家歌剧院的音乐总监。他还曾担任北荷兰管弦乐团首席指挥与音乐顾问,与克拉科夫的贝多芬学院管弦乐团保持着长期合作关系。

2023-2024音乐季里,他将与华沙爱乐乐团一起在中国六座城市巡演,指挥波兹南歌剧院演出大卫·普特尼全新制作的威尔第《奥赛罗》,重返华沙爱乐乐团、安卡拉总统交响乐团等,并将首次指挥马德里自治区管弦乐团与合唱团、伊兹密尔国家交响乐团等。

Conductor
One of Poland’s foremost conductors, Jacek Kaspsyzk was recently appointed Music Director of Poznań Opera from the season 2023-24. He previously held the position of Principal Guest Conductor and Music Advisor with the company. He has also held the position of Artistic Director at both the Warsaw Philharmonic and the NFM Wroclaw Philharmonic, and the position of Music Director at both the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Polish National Opera. He was also previously the Principal Conductor and Music Advisor of the Noord Nederlands Orkest. He has is a long association with the Beethoven Academy Orchestra in Krakow.
Since his early success at the Karajan Conducting Competition in Berlin, Jacek has conducted major orchestras throughout the world, including the Berlin Philharmonic, Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, RSO Berlin, Orchestre de Paris, Vienna Symphony, Oslo Philharmonic, Stockholm Philharmonic, Rotterdam Philharmonic and Czech Philharmonic, and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe with whom he toured Australia. He has worked with all the major London orchestras, the BBC Orchestras (including at the BBC Proms), as well as the Royal Scottish National, the Halle,, the Ulster Orchestra and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. He has toured extensively with the Warsaw Philharmonic in Europe, Asia and the USA to great critical acclaim.
Jacek has conducted at renowned opera houses including the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in
Dsseldorf, Ope,ra Comique in Paris, Ope,ra de Lyon, Ope,ra de Bordeaux, English National
Opera, Zurich Opera, and Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires. For the Staatstheater Nrnberg, he
conducted Szymanowski’s masterpiece King Roger to great international acclaim.
During the 2022-23 season he was welcomed back to Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, Warsaw Philharmonic, Wroclaw Philharmonic, Polish Baltic Philharmonic Gdansk, Szczecin Philharmonic, Pomeranian Philharmonic Bydgoszcz, Sinfonia Varsovia, Beethoven Easter Festival and the Presidential Symphony Orchestra Ankara, and made several return visits to Poznań Opera, including a tour performance of the concert version of Moniuszko’s Paria at the Philharmonie Berlin.
Past highlights of recent seasons include performances with the Ulster Orchestra, Cottbus Philharmonic Orchestra with Martha Argerich, Warsaw Philharmonic, Wroclaw Philharmonic, the Orchestra of Poznan Opera, the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra at the Beethoven Festival in Katowice, Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, Bern Symphony Orchestra, Janacek Philharmonic, Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestre National de l’Ile de France with pianist Louis Lortie, Lucerne Symphony Orchestra, Lahti Symphony Orchestra, Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, Orquesta de Valencia, Symphony Orchestra of India and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. He also gave performances with the St. Petersburg Philharmonic following his highly acclaimed debut with the Mariinsky Opera Orchestra at the 2017 White Nights Festival in St. Petersburg. Regularly invited to China, Jacek has conducted the China Philharmonic, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hangzhou Symphony Orchestras.
The forthcoming season 2023-24 will see him conduct the Warsaw Philharmonic on a six- concert tour of China, and will conduct David Pountney’s new production of Verdi’s Otello at Poznan Opera. He will also make returns to Wroclaw Philharmonic, the Presidential Symphony Orchestra Ankara, and will debut at the Orchestra and Choir of the Community of Madrid and with the Izmir State Symphony Orchestra.
Jacek’s work is documented through a wide canon of critically acclaimed and award-winning CD recordings, and he is especially feted for his interpretation and performances of works by Polish composers. His recording of Lutosławski’s Symphonies No 2 & 4 with the NFM Wroclaw Philharmonic received the 2011 Fryderyk Award for Album of the Year, Symphonic and Concert Music. He made a ground-breaking recording of Szymanowski’s King Roger with Polish National Opera, whilst recent recordings with the Warsaw Philharmonic for Warner Classics include a critically acclaimed performance of Szymanowski’s Stabat Mater and Symphony No. 3. His 2018 CD release features Mlynarsky’s Symphony Polonia, Penderecki’s Polonaise and Weinberg’s Polish Melodies. Further recordings for Warner Classics are in the pipeline.
He enjoys a fruitful collaboration with Martha Argerich, having regularly conducted at the Progetto Martha Argerich Festival in Lugano, and recorded several acclaimed CDs for EMI.
